PowerMAX electronic relay (Solid State Relay) for switching in 14V DC applications. Hi power, Hi speed. Use for variable speed motor control or just general switching purposes.

PowerMAX is a robust design and its high current capacity, switching speed and inbuilt protection make it perfectly suited as a ‘driver’ for fan and motor controllers using high speed switching (PWM) techniques, such as available on most aftermarket ECU's.

Unlike conventional relays PowerMAX is 'solid state' and has no unreliable moving or arcing components to wear out, it also requires only a very low current to operate.

• Leads are not terminated, you can hardwire or fit any connector of your choice

• On/off input draws very low current (< 0.2mA and is TTL and CMOS compatible), ground to turn on relay

• Inbuilt protection/filtering from 'flyback EMF', simply connect the load

• Simple connection- 5 wires; input power, output power to the load and an activation wire

*The current rating depends on factors such as wire sizing, speed of switching, temperature etc. The lower the switching speed then the higher the current i.e. simple on/off use result in extremely high current capability.
